Miami Nightlife

Here are a few fun spots to check out in Miami:

1. LIV

This night club is located in the Fountainebleau Miami Beach Hotel. I stayed at this hotel in Miami, so I went a couple of times during my stay, but they’re known for Sunday nights. A lot of celebrities make appearances here. As pictured above, Jamie Foxx made an appearance when I went on a Sunday night. He made his appearance at the club around 3am; celebrities often make very late night appearances, but it’s worth staying at the club until they arrive. The picture I took was with no zoom. He was singing “Gold Digger” right in front of my friends and I; it was a really cool experience. LIV also has artists do a lot of album release parties here, so definitely check what events are going on at LIV in advance. There is a fee to get into the club. The night I went with Jamie Foxx it was $100/per person. Prices can vary for men and women. If you go with a *promoter you can get in for free or at a discounted rate.

2. Mr. Jones

I personally love Mr. Jones. A large majority of people here are women at tables with *promoters, but there are some tables with men as well. I’ve been here a couple of times and the music never disappoints. The DJ’s and drinks are always fantastic.

3. E11EVEN

This is an extremely famous night club in Miami. Many celebrities such as Nicki Minaj have performed here. When I went here my friends and I purchases tickets at the door – you can also purchase tickets online in advance. They costed $20 each. There are trapeze dancers, DJ’s, and a variety of different live performances. It is a really fun club to check out while you’re in Miami. This club used to be open 24 hours, but now it’s open 8pm-1oam. Maybe it will become a 24 hour club again in the future, but who knows! Note: You do need to be careful with your phone/photography for privacy purposes for the dancers.

4. Bodega

This is a more casual club compared to the three listed above. This club has good music and drinks, and if you’re not looking to get dressed in Casual Upscale attire, this is a good spot to check out. Majority of clubs in Miami have dress codes, so make sure to check the dress codes in advance.

*Promoter(s) – These are individuals who are paid to bring people into clubs to enhance the clubs image. Promoters typically have tables with bottle service at high end clubs. You can find promotors on social media sites such as Instagram.
